Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has been hosting the radio programme named ‘Mann Ki Baat’ to address the nation since October 2014. The Indian Prime Minister reaches to the masses of the country directly through radio and shares his views on various topics such as Digital India mission.
How will it work?
To get started with listening to Mann Ki Baat via Alexa, users will need to first enable the Mann Ki Baat skill via the Alexa app. They can do so manually by going to the Skills section in the app and enable Mann Ki Baat skill or simply they can enable it by just saying “Alexa, enable Mann Ki Baat.” Once the skill is enabled, users can start listening to episodes by using voice commands like “Alexa, open Mann Ki Baat” and then specify the month and year. For example, you can say “Alexa, open Mann Ki Baat December 2017” to listen to last month’s talk. Ishaan Prakash, Editor Live Operations, ANI said, “We are thrilled to make Mann Ki Baat available as a skill and offer listeners a new way to hear the Prime Minister’s address. Currently, users can listen to any of the previous editions of Mann ki Baat starting from January 2015. In case you miss the upcoming live edition of Mann ki Baat on 28th January, you can hear it on your Echo device within a few hours of the broadcast.”
