Its debatable if we need more low cost Chinese/Taiwanese/American handsets pushing through online exclusive channels in India, but more options shouldn’t be a bad thing at consumer end. The new AOX handsets will cost well below 10,000 INR and will include several enticing features like camera sensors sourced from Sony, JDI display, 4000 mAh battery, Metal frame and 2 GB RAM. Expect a glittering spec sheet, but even more interesting is the proposal of OS portability. AOX smartphones will apparently allow you to work with multiple OS, which sounds interesting. We are not sure how this will be implemented though. Our sources claim, AOX will enter Indian market very soon. For now, their website is still in nascent stages.
