All these phones were introduced earlier this year in May at the Computex 2016. The Zenfone 3 series phones come with major upgrades over its predecessor, Zenfone 2. The three Zenfones come with a metal build, hybrid SIM-card slot, VOLTE support, Laser Autofocus, fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C and run on Marshmallow (6.0) with Zen UI 3.0 on top. The series includes Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Ultra  and Zenfone 3 Deluxe.

Zenfone 3 comes with a 5.5-inch Full-HD (1080p) Super IPS display with 2.5D and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs on a 2-GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor. It has got 3GB of RAM for 32GB storage option and 4GB RAM for 64GB storage option. It features a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF, laser autofocus, f/2.0 aperture, 6P Largan lens, 4 Stop OIS and 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 88-degree wide-angle lens. It is backed up by a 3,000 mAh battery and is quite sleek at 7.7mm of thickness. Zenfone 3 Ultra comes with a larger 6.8-inch Full-HD (1080p) display. Under the hood it runs the same octa-core 2-GHz Snapdragon 652 processor. It also comes in two variants, 3GB of RAM for 32GB storage option and 4GB RAM for 64GB storage option. It has got a 23MP  (Sony IMX318 sensor) rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, 4-axis OIS, 3-axis EIS, laser autofocus and a 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide-viewing angle. It has got stereo speakers, NXP smart amplifier for enhanced experience. It is quite slim at just 6.8mm of thickness and is backed up by a 4,600mAh battery with Qualcomm quick charge 3.0.

Zenfone 3 Deluxe features a 5.7-inch Full-HD (1080p) Super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by a high-end Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor coupled by 6GB RAM. On the storage front, it has got 64GB storage option, 128GB storage option and 256GB storage option. It sports a 23MP ( Sony IMX318 sensor) rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, 6P Largan lens, 4-axis OIS, 3-axis EIS, laser autofocus and a 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 85-degree wide-viewing angle. It has got Dual Five-magnet speakers, NXP smart amplifier, Hi-Res Audio (HRA) for enhanced audio experience. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and BoostMaster Fast Charging. It weighs 170 grams and is fairly sleek at 7.5mm of thickness.

There is no word on the pricing of the devices, so we have to wait till the official launch. These all devices packs great hardware and comes with a premium build hence it will be interesting to see that how Asus price them in India against the competitors.
