BlackBerry Classic comes with sacred QWERTY keyboard, square trackpad and other hardware controls to strike balance with BlackBerry addicts. The display is 3.5 Inches in size with sharp 720x 720 pixel resolution, shooting pixel density to 294 ppi. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 on top. Processor is slightly dated Snapdragon S4 Plus with 2 Krait cores ticking at 1.2 GHz, 2 GB RAM and Adreno 225 GPU. You wouldn’t hope for a dated SoC in a high end device, but as long as it gets the job done, BlackBerry loyalists won’t mind. Apart from 16 GB internal storage, you can insert up to 128 GB MicroSD card as well. The textured back surface houses an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash, which can record 1080p full HD videos. A 2 MP front camera is also present for video calls and selfies. Software is BlackBerry 10.3.1 OS and you can also side load Android apps too. To keep things running, there is a 2515 mAh battery inside, which can last for 348 hours of standby and about 12 hours of talk time on 2G. BlackBerry Classic doesn’t offer much reason for new users to switch platform, but has a well defined target audience for itself. BlackBerry Bold customers who upgrade to Classic will get a discount of 4,500 INR. BlackBerry is also offering 1,000 INR voucher from Yatra.com with BlackBerry Classic.
