Xiaomi Redmi Pro has a metal body with a fingerprint sensor that is inbuilt in the Home button. It has a 5.5-inch OLED display with 2.5D curved glass on the top. It comes with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD). It is powered by a Deca Core processor with the latest MediaTek Helio X20 chipset (in the lowest model) and MediaTek Helio X25 chipset in the remaining two, which is coupled with a Mali-T880 GPU. Regarding the RAM and storage, as mentioned earlier, it will come in three variants with 3GB/32GB, 3GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB respectively. Moreover, it also packs a hybrid slot for microSD card. Operating system is the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the all new MIUI 8 on the top. Talking about the camera, it has a dual camera setup on the back comprising a 13-MP autofocus camera with Sony IMX 258 sensor, a 5-MP camera with Samsung sensor and a dual tone LED flash. On the front it has a 5 MP camera for nice selfies. This dual SIM smartphone is backed by a big 4050 mAh battery with fast charging technology. Connectivity options include 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), GPS with AGPS/GLONASS and USB type C. The phone is priced at 1499 Yuan (Rs. 15100 approx) for 32 GB variant, 1699 Yuan (Rs. 17,120) for 64 GB variant and 1999 Yuan (Rs. 20,150 approx) for 128 GB variant. It will be available in China from 6th August in Grey, Silver and Gold colors, but there’s no word on when it will reach India.
