When Samsung introduced its Hexa core chipset at MWC, we knew this had the potential to be popular employee in mid range devices. MediaTek showcasing some first class agility and introduced its own Hexa core chipset, MT6591 with Karbonn Titanium Hexa. While we are uncertain if Samsung will use HMP on its Exynos 5460 hexa core chipset, but MediaTek does claims its 1.5 GHz Hexa Core processor with Mali 450 GPU to be a true Hexa core device. The Karbonn Titanium Hexa featured Android KitKat and 2 GB RAM at a price reasonable lower than most Octa core phones available in India. If you think 8 cores is an over kill and 6 strikes the sweet spot between quad core and octa core, you sure do have a reason to get excited. The Titanium Hexa scored 21,000 on Antutu benchmarks and 56.5 Fps in Nenamarks, which is more than decent performance for day to day tasks and gaming. We are eager to see what Micromax brings to the table. We will update this blog post with the video interview soon.
