Material Designed Google Products on Chrome
Coming from the developer behind the best app launcher, the Black Menu, “Ink” for Chrome transforms core elements of Google products to bring the consistent material design look. Although, some websites like YouTube get a completely new look with sidebars, red accents and more, other products like Gmail or Drive merely get only a revived topbar. Even the search gets an elevated top bar to provide a more sophisticated look. Applications which are already updated with material design policies remain unaffected with the extension. For instance, Google Maps or Photos. However, there are few design tweaks that make them more colorful and visually appealing. I personally adore the Keep notes website modifications as it now has more natural visuals than before. The extension also lets you enable or disable itself for any particular website. To do so, hit the little paint bucket on top and there you’ll find the “Enable on this site” switch.
