Gionee launched the A1 Plus smartphone back in July this year and it was priced Rs. 26,999 in India. Later the company launched a more affordable version known as the Gionee A1 Lite in August at a price tag of Rs. 14,999 in India. Now, the company has announced a price cut on both the smartphones.

Gionee recently partnered with Airtel and Paytm to offer other benefits to its customers. Gionee A1 Plus or A1 Lite buyers who are Airtel customers will get additional 10 GB data per month for 6 months on any recharge of 1GB and above. Apart from that, the company offers Paytm cashback vouchers worth Rs. 250 cash back on a minimum purchase of Rs. 350 on Paytm mall.

It is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753 processor and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with Amigo 4.0 UI. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the back. A1 Lite has a 4000mAh battery.
