Earlier in September, Gionee had launched the M7 Power along with the M7 in China. In India, though, Gionee has launched only the M7 Power. The phone also features a metal unibody design and is priced at Rs. 16,999.
Gionee M7 Power Specifications
The Gionee M7 Power features a 6-inch FullView 2.5D curved glass display with 1440 x 720 pixels resolution and in 18:9 aspect ratio. Dimension wise it measures 156.3 × 75.6 × 8.6mm and weighs 187g. It also features a metal unibody with a fingerprint sensor on its back.
On the hardware front, the M7 Power is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor clocked at 1.4GHz with Adreno 505 GPU. Memory wise it packs 4GB RAM, with 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB with microSD. In the camera department, the M7 Power features a single 13MP rear camera with LED flash, PDAF, and f/2.0 aperture. On the front, it sports an 8MP camera with flash. The phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Amigo OS 5.0 on top. An interesting addition to the camera on the M7 Power is the 3D photo feature – all you have to do is go around an object to form a three-dimensional dynamic picture, post which a live photo can show the object with multiple angles for deeper details. Connectivity options on the Gionee M7 Power include hybrid dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, and GPS. It packs a 5000mAh built-in battery with fast charging support. Commenting on the David Chang, Global Sales Director, Gionee India stated, “M7 Power is another intuitive product which in the true sense is a device that promises to empower its users with superior quality and seamless experience with many firsts to its credit from the 3D photo concept to a full view infinity display.”
