As of now, the teaser on the Made by Google site has a message that says, “Thinking about changing phones? Stay tuned for more on 4 October.” If you want to be notified about the same, you can put your email address, country and click on ‘Submit’.

Google has also released a promotional video which shows users typing several questions about their smartphones. It indicates that the next-generation Pixel devices will have a more efficient battery, better camera, and a smarter Google Assistant. The search giant has also put up billboards at some places in the US teasing its October 4 launch event. A billboard at Boston reads the same as the website, “Ask more of your phone”, followed by the Google logo and “Oct. 4” at the bottom. Although, these advertisements do not mention Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 anywhere, it is very likely that the company will announce the Pixel 2 devices on October 4. Interestingly, Google Pixel and Pixel XL were also unveiled on October 4 last year. As per recent reports, Pixel 2 will be manufactured by HTC, and LG is making the Pixel XL 2. Google Pixel 2 is said to have bezels on sides and it could get a 5.0inch display. Also, it won’t feature a dual rear camera setup. One of the highlights of Pixel 2 will be HTC U11 like squeezable edges, which could be used to launch Google Assistant. Google Pixel XL 2, on the other hand, will have a bigger 5.99 inch bezel-less display and an aspect ratio of 18:9. Both the smartphones will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor.
