Tech outlet Techcrunch also reports that the smartwatch will be made by none other than LG, manufacturers of the last 2 Nexus smartphones (Nexus 4 and Nexus 5). They say that the device will come with a plastic strap, a square display and Bluetooth 4.0 LE for communicating with smartphones and possibly other devices. Techcrunch says Interactions with the watch are very gesture-driven. That is, swiping alerts and tapping to select. In related news, popular leakster @evleaks just tweeted that the Google smartwatch will be made by LG, and will be launched at the Google I/O in June. We can’t say for certain yet, but it seems like the I/O is going to be quite a fest; only yesterday we reported that Google will be showcasing Android v4.5 alongside the Nexus 8 tablet at the event. Well, time shall tell!
