Xiaomi has reduced the price of accessories such as the 10,000mAh power bank, 20,000mAh power bank, the backpack, Mi Band 2i Strap, USB Cable Charger, cases, covers and screen protectors among other things. It’s nice to see that Xiaomi is passing on the benefits of GST and reducing the prices of its accessories. However, there has been no reduction in the prices of the smartphones sold by the company in the country and we don’t expect Xiaomi to reduce the prices as the device are already priced very competitively. Xiaomi recently had launched two new power banks in India and they have not been affected by the price cut. The Mi Power Bank 2i continues to be sold at Rs. 1,499 for the 20,000mAh version and Rs. 799 for the 10,000mAh version.
