Hike has announced the host of new features for its young users from college and school which mostly chat in groups. Now, Hike users can create a group of up to 1000 members. With these new features, users can easily do multiple tasks within the chat.
Hike Group chat features
Hike users on group chats can now do multiple tasks without the need for multiple apps. For instance, they can split a bill for a group without a calculator and also play Teen Patti in spare time within the group chat. They can create a poll and take votes as well. Additionally, Hike also lets its users create huge groups with up to 1000 members.
Vote
It is a great feature for school and college friends to decide anything with the whole group’s consent. Hike users can easily create a poll within the group chat with the Vote microapp making it easier to express opinions and preferences with just a simple tap.
Checklists, Events with Reminders
Sometimes there are so many things to do for everyone so you can create a Checklist to make sure nothing is missed out, in any event, your group is organizing. Users can also set the reminders for events and the inbuilt calendar exclusive to your group chat will remind you to get ready.
Bill Split
Another important feature is the ‘Bill Split’ that allows the group members to share their bills with friends. So, if someone in the group book those movie tickets or reserve tables for dinner and later split the bill within the group. Just calculate everyone’s share and receive money via Hike Wallet.
Teen Patti
Additionally, there is this fun feature for playing Teen Patti within the Group. Group members can play right from the group chat from anywhere with other group members. On the launch of these new social features, Vishwanath Ramarao, CTO, Hike Messenger, said, “Our new features will make sharing much easier within the group and raise the fun and productivity quotient. We believe that this could be a key driver for groups to come together and do much more in the online world.”
