Exit fastboot mode in Redmi Note 3

Force Reboot

Force reboot is one thing which you should do in most of the situations and fix almost everything. Your Redmi Note 3 may get fixed with the same simple old solution, restarting it. Restarting and android smartphone is pretty simple, press and hold the power key then tap the reboot option in the power menu.

But since the phone is not in the OS mode, we have to force reboot the smartphone without the power menu. To do that, press and hold the power key for about 15 seconds and the smartphone will reboot automatically. Sometimes it takes about 30 seconds for the smartphone to force reboot, so keep holding the power button for longer.

Power and Volume Buttons Combination

If the force reboot is not working on your smartphone then there is a button combination that may reboot your smartphone. This is the power and volume button combination which reboots your phone to the recovery mode.

For this to work, you need to press and hold the power button and volume down button at the same time. Keep holding them will your phone reboot and you see the Mi logo on the smartphone and the boot animation starts.

Use a PC Tool

If your phone is not reacting to one of the two above methods then you need to follow these steps. The buttons may not be able to communicate with the operating system so we need a PC for this next method and a USB cable to connect your phone to that Windows PC.

Download the Android Multi Tools tool on your Windows PC and launch it from the rar file. Connect your phone to your PC using a USB cable. Once you launch the tool, you will see a couple of options that can only be executed using commands. You only have to press 9 on your PC to execute the Exit Fastboot Mode command.

Wrapping up

If any of these methods don’t work then your smartphone is really messed up and in soft brick mode. You need to take it to the nearest service center to get it working again. For more tricks like this, follow us on social media to stay updated.
