You can now set WhatsApp custom wallpapers in each chat. WhatsApp has been testing custom wallpapers for a while now and the feature is getting an overhaul and rolling out to all users. WhatsApp has introduced another feature that allows you to set separate wallpapers as per the system theme i.e. light or dark mode. Set WhatsApp Chat Custom Wallpaper

The process of changing the WhatsApp chat wallpaper still remains the same. However, this time you will able to set a different wallpaper for each chat.

1] Open the latest version of the WhatsApp app on your smartphone. 2] Now, open that particular chat window for which you want to change the wallpaper. 3] Tap on the three-dots menu from the top right corner and then select Wallpaper.  4] Here, tap on the Change button at the bottom and select the wallpaper of your choice, and tap on Set Wallpaper 6] After that select the For this chat  option and tap OK. That’s it. You can also adjust the visibility and brightness of the wallpaper from the Wallpaper Dimming slider at the bottom. You can repeat the same process for other chats as well.
