While the listed documents reveal tests on cellular connectivity, the HTC made Pixel 2 is likely to come with an ‘Active Edge’ feature, which means you can squeeze your phone’s frame to launch an app or function, 9to5Google reported. Leaks and rumours also suggest there will be two Pixel 2 devices this year which may be manufactured by HTC or LG. Through this new listing, it can be safely said that HTC is going to manufacture at least one of these devices.

Google Pixel 2 Specifications

HTC’s FCC listing has revealed certain features of the Google Pixel 2. One of the main revealed features is a squeezable frame called the ‘Active Edge’ in the listings. This feature is already there on the HTC U11, but in the case of the Pixel 2, the Active Edge will be used to launch Google Assistant. The listing also reveals Android 8.0.1 with August security patch on the Pixel 2, confirming Android 8 out of the box. Other revelations from the screenshots are the processor and internal memory. Most certainly, the HTC made Pixel 2 will come with a Snapdragon 835 processor with 64GB internal memory.

Other leaks about Pixel 2

The next flagship from Google, the Pixel 2 has had many leaks surrounding it. One of the renders shows that the glass window at the back is no longer covering the fingerprint sensor. Also, the phone may come with dual front-facing speakers but the headphone jack may not be there. Another set of rumours indicates the Pixel 2 and the larger Pixel XL 2 to be made by different manufacturers. Here it is confirmed that HTC will be making at least one of these devices. The larger Pixel XL 2 is expected to come with a big 6-inch screen and 128GB storage.
