There is no confirmation about launch date but the company has already listed some plans on its website. These plans are only available in Pune for now but Idea is planning to expand the service to more cities. Also, the service is not available throughout the Pune city but in selected regions.
Idea Home Broadband Plans
Idea Cellular is offering two type of broadband services one of which is for home users. The company has revealed six broadband pans for now under the Home Broadband category. The base plan in the Rs 499 plan offers 2Mbps speed and has 30GB FUP limit.After the FUP, the speeds will be reduced to 512Kbps.
Idea Broadband Ultra-Fast Fiber
Idea is also offering Ultra-Fast broadband service which includes a total of eight plans which are aimed for office use. The base plan in this category are the Rs. 699 and Rs 899 plans which offers 40 Mbps download speed and 40 GB and 75 GB data FUP. After the FUP is crossed, the speed is reduced to 2Mbps.
Idea Broadband Value Added Services
With the broadband plans, Idea is also offering some Value Added Services such as Idea PC Protect, Idea PC Protect Plus and Idea Music on Demand.
