Back in August, Infinix announced its entry in India with the launch of the Hot 4 Pro and Note 4. While they were aimed at the entry level price segment, Infinix is now expanding its portfolio with the launch of the Zero 5 in India.
Infinix Zero 5 Specifications
Big phones are quite popular and recognizing this, Infinix has launched the Zero 5 with a big 6-inch Full HD LTPS IPS LCD display sourced with JDI. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Featuring Infinix’s custom skin XOS 3.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat, the Zero 5 is powered by the Mediatek Helio P25 chipset with an octa-core processor clocked up to 2.6GHz. The phone comes in two variants – 6GB RAM with 64GB and 128GB storage options, with the 128GB variant being branded as Zero 5 Pro. The phone supports microSD cards up to 128GB. In terms of optics, the Infinix Zero 5 features a dual camera setup on the back – a 13MP telephoto lens with 2X optical zoom and a 12MP wide-angle lens aided by a dual tone LED flash. On the front, the Zero 5 features a 16MP camera with an LED flash for selfies and video calling. Other features of the Zero 5 include a fingerprint sensor, dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a USB Type C port. The phone is backed by a 4,350mAh battery that comes with Xcharge fast charging support. In addition to the Zero 5, Infinix also unveiled its line of noise free headphones of both wired and wireless variety. Infinix has named its headphones Quiet 2 and Quiet X, priced at Rs. 2,499 and Rs. 6,999 respectively. Both the headphones come with Active Noise Cancellation.
Infinix Zero 5 Price and Availability
The Infinix Zero 5 has been priced at Rs. 17,999 and the 128GB Zero 5 Pro has been priced at Rs. 19,999. Both the phones will be available exclusively on Flipkart from November 22 and come in four colour options – Sandstone Black, Champagne Gold, Bordeaux Red and Bronze Gold Black. As a part of the Zero 5 launch day offer, Infinix will give its customers an option to buy the Quiet 2 at Rs. 1,499 and Quiet X at Rs. 4,999.
