Talking of specifications, the Smart A52+ features a 3.5 inch IPS WVGA 480p display and is powered by a MediaTek chipset clocked at 1.2 GHz paired with 512 MB of RAM. The handset runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and features a 2 MP main camera paired with a VGA front-facer. Connectivity wise, it has 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and Dual SIM functionality.
The Smart A11 Star is a 4.3 inch smartphone with an IPS display panel boasting WVGA 480p resolution. The device uses the same chipset as the smaller sibling and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat packing a 5 MP primary snapper and a VGA front-facer. It uses a 1,400 mAh battery to power it from within and has 3G along with the connectivity features mentioned above.
Lastly, the Smart A12 Star resembles the Smart A11 Star in all the segments expect for the display. The handset boasts of a smaller 4 inch IPS display that again packs WVGA 480p resolution. On the pricing front, the Smart A52+, Smart A11 Star and Smart A12 Star are priced reasonably at Rs 3,099, Rs 4,499 and Rs 4,099 respectively. Commenting on the launch, Kalyan Krishnamurthy, SVP – retail at Flipkart said, “It is our continuous endeavour to make technology available easily and at affordable prices to the greater masses of India. In this digital age, we believe every Indian should have access to a smartphone. These Karbonn phones that have been made exclusively for Flipkart customers are a step in that direction.”
