Titanium Octane Plus feature a 5 inch IPS LCD display and the Auxus Nuclea N2 has a 5.7 inch OGS Full HD display. Both the Octane plus and the Nuclea N2 have the same resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.Titanium Octane plus scores higher when the pixel density is compared. Titanium Octane Plus has a pixel density of 441 ppi while Auxus Nuclea N2 stands at 386 ppi. This is due to the large screen size of the Auxus Nuclea N2. Titanium Octane plus and Auxus Nuclea N2 both pack in a MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor clocked at 1.7 GHz incorporating a Cortex A7 processor and Mali 450MP4 GPU. Both these powerhouses come loaded with 2 GB RAM which are good at multi-tasking and handling RAM draining apps.

Camera and Internal storage

The primary shooter in the Titanium Octane plus a 16 MP sensor that is supplemented by auto focus, touch focus, smile and face detection, LED flash and support for 1080p video recording. Also, there is an 8 MP secondary camera that can facilitate in video calling and for capturing attractive selfies. In comparison, the iBerry Auxus Nuclea N2 comes packing a 13 MP camera at its back along with BSI sensor and an 8 MP camera at the front again for making video calls and capturing selfies. For the storage needs, Karbonn Titanium Octane plus packs 16 GB of internal storage capacity that comes with a micro SD card support for added capacity. On the other hand, the iBerry Auxus Nuclea N2 also comes with a 16 GB of native storage space that can be expanded up to 64 GB with the help of a micro SD card. Here the Nuclea N2 scores higher as Octane plus has an expansion limit of 32 GB.

Battery and other features

Titanium Octane plus has a 2000 mAh battery, whereas that in the iBerry Auxus Nuclea N2 is a juicy 3,500 mAh. Obviously, the battery in the latter appears to last for long, but the backup delivered by them is still not disclosed. Karbonn Titanium Plus runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat and the Auxus Nuclea N2 on the older Android 4.2. One notable feature of the Auxus Nuclea N2 is the wireless charging facility it offers though wireless charger is not included in the package.

On the pricing front, the Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus priced at Rs 17,990 should be the best one for those preferring to own a sub 20,000 price phone with the latest features. Otherwise, the iBerry Auxus Nuclea N2 is available for Rs. 23,990. Specs wise both the phones are similar with iBerry offer one or two extra features. Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus will be a better option if you don’t mind paying Rs. 5000 for wireless charging and a larger display.
