To refresh on its specifications, LG G Flex 2 makes use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset with 64 bit octa core processor and 2 GB of RAM. The device is fueled by Android 5.0 Lollipop and flaunts a 5.5 inch full HD 1080p curved P-OLED display. LG G Flex 2 is given a 13 MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS+), dual-LED flash and laser auto focus as in the yesteryear flagship model LG G3. Up front, the handset has a 2.1 MP selfie snapper.

The G Flex 2 comes in 16 GB and 32 GB storage options that can be further expanded.  There are connectivity options such as 4G LTE-A with tri-band carrier aggregation, HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, SlimPort and GPS. The curved handset is energized by a 3,000 mAh non-removable battery. Software wise, the G Flex successor makes use of Gesture Shot that is recognizable from 1.5 metres, Gesture View to view the most recently clicked shot, Glance View to swipe down for notifications while the display is off and Fast Charging that will charge the battery to 50 percent in just 40 minutes. Notably, the G Flex 2 boasts of an improved ‘Self Healing’ technology at its back than the one on the original LG G Flex. It is touted by the firm that this technology will heal the scratches in just 10 seconds at room temperature.
