The LG G Watch is a stiff competitor to the other Android Wear based smartwatches available in the market, but it lacks the aesthetics as in the Moto 360 or its successor G Watch R that feature radial design. To refresh on its specifications, the G Watch flaunts 1.65 inch IPS display with a resolution of 280×280 pixels and employs a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor paired with 512 MB of RAM. The device has 4 GB of native storage capacity and gets energized by a 400 mAh battery. The smartwatch comes with a 9 axis accelerometer, digital compass and gyroscope and boasts of Bluetooth 4.0 LE connectivity. It also features a metallic build and IP67 water and dust resistant rating as the other Android Wear based smartwatches. Over the last week, LG announced that it will be starting the global rollout of the G Watch R that went official in August starting from November. While the European markets will be receiving the smartwatch in the next month, the Asian markets will get the device later this year. LG G Watch – Buy Now
