Camera and Internal Storage

The primary camera unit in the LG G3 Stylus is a promising 13 MP sensor that is coupled with auto focus and LED flash for better low light performance. This camera is capable of recording FHD 1080p videos as well. The handset boasts of a 1.3 MP selfie shooter that will take charge of video conferencing and clicking self portrait shots. Of course, this camera will cannot compete itself with that of the LG G3, but it certainly enough considering for the pricing the handset asks. The internal storage stands at 8 GB and this can be extended up to a whopping 32 GB using a micro SD card. While the 8 GB of storage space might sound low given the price of the smartphone, it is supplemented by the enormous expandable storage support.

Processor and Battery

The chipset used in the LG device is a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 paired with 1 GB of RAM for decent multi-tasking. This hardware combination should be sufficient for a decent performance and multi-tasking experience and the chipset is commonly found in many other mid-range smartphones. A 3,000 mAh battery unit is included in the LG G3 Stylus and this is rated to pump in a decent backup of 16.5 hours of talk time and 880 hours of standby time respectively on 3G.

Display and Features

LG has given the handset a spacious 5.5 inch qHD IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 960540 pixels and a pixel density of 200 pixels per inch. This panel will be suitable for the basic tasks and though it is not exceptional, it should suffice in handling the basic tasks efficiently. The LG G3 Stylus is fueled by Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system topped with the UX skin as in the G3 packing Touch & Shoot and Gesture Shot that will enhance the user experience. The device also packs the usual connectivity features such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Further, the stylus facilitates in helping users to operate the large screen display conveniently.

The LG G3 Stylus with a price tag of Rs 21,500 will provide the mid-range seekers with a worthy smartphone to try out the flagship G3 like experience such as rear buttons, new UX interface and more without spending too much. If LG would have preferred to use a better display, the handset would gained more attention.
