The phone has a brushed metallic back similar to HTC One M8, with a scratch resistant coating (not full HD), and LG claims it wont be a fingerprint magnet like LG G2. the rear key is also more flat and looks good in images.

As expected LG G3 features a Quad HD display with 2560×1440 pixels spread across a 5.5 inch True HD IPS LCD display (44 percent reduction in pixel size compared to Full HD displays), shooting pixel density off the roof at 538 pixels per inches.  The important thing is that LG has trimmed down the bezels (73 percent display) just as it did on G2, to house the phablet display in a smaller form factor. The display is also protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The processor used is Snapdragon 801 quad core clocked at 2.46 GHz and backed by 2GB RAM. LG has not employed Snapdragon 805 as was rumored in the previous leaks.  As always, 16 GB and 32 GB internal storage variants will be available. MicroSD support is also present for up to additional 128 GB.

A 13 MP camera is present at the rear equipped with laser auto focus, OIS+ and LED flash and capable of recording 4K videos. The rear key present below the camera might give an illusion of HTC One M8 like dual Cam. At the front, you will get a 2.1 MP camera capable of full HD 1080p video recording. laser focus uses laser technology to focus on images so as to reduce the focusing time.

The software used is Android 4.4 Kitkat and LG has definitely improved the software. LG has been listening to all the criticism of cluttered LG G2 UI and this time the UI is more simplistic. LG has also enhanced the keyboard, with improved suggestive keyboard. The keyboard can be resized. The smart keyboard will become bigger when you are typing a word. The hight of the keyboard can also be changed. It will learn how you type with time to further improve the performance.

The smart notification feature will act like a personal assistant. You will get tips based on your usage, for example it will ask you to switch to battery saving mode or delete apps you haven’t used in a while. LG has also added several security features to LG G3 like remote disabling, remote lock, knock code, etc. Battery Capacity is 3000 mAh. LG G2 performed superbly with its 3000 mAh battery (Removable), but this time the battery will be taxed more thanks to the larger display with twice the amount of pixels. The G3 has adaptive frame rate, adaptive clocking and adaptive timing control to reduce battery consumption. LG has assured us that battery wont be affected. LG G3 also supports wireless charging. QuickCircle cases will be available in white, black and gold. LG G2 was one of the first Snapdragon 800 phones in India and we were impressed by how snappy it was in spite being loaded with wide array of customized features on top of Android. Lets see how LG G3 fares.
