Motorola recently upgraded Moto G to second generation. Motorola added everything users were clamoring for – a bigger display, MicroSD card slot and a bigger Camera sensor. What remained unchanged was Snapdragon 400 SoC efficiently powering the device.
Since the Android world is transitioning to 64 bit computing, it’s kind of expected that Motorola will be coming up with a Snapdragon 410 smartphone to maintain its strong hold on budget Android Market. Snapdragon 400 is the 64 bit equivalent of Snapdragon 400 which will be based on more power efficient ARMv8 architecture Cortex A53 cores. This is the same chipset which debuted with HTC Desire 820q in India. The present portfolio includes Moto E, Moto G 2nd Gen, Moto X and Moto X Second Gen. The company is also manufacturing this year’s Nexus 6 which will soon arrive as a high end smartphone in India. There does exist room for another Moto between Moto G and X.
