Camera and Internal Storage
The rear camera is 6.7 MP sensor with Carl Zeiss optics, auto focus, LED flash, panorama and FHD 1080p video recording support. Nokia has also provided stereo surround microphone to render an unhindered audio quality in the recorded videos. The device is claimed to be selfie focused smartphone as the front facing 5 MP camera has a wide angle lens with a focal length of 24 mm to capture better self portrait shots. A cool Lumia Selfie camera app is also present to assist in clicking, editing and sharing the self portrait shots captured. The internal storage is acceptable at 8 GB and it is reasonable for the pricing of the Lumia 730. Also, there is support for 128 GB for additional storage with the help of a micro SD card and it will definitely quench all the storage requirements of the users.

The handset uses a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor in the Lumia 730 similar to the Lumia 830. This is teamed up with 1 GB of RAM for efficient multitasking. It is claimed by Microsoft that the Windows Phone 8.1 platform can easily sail through this hardware combination without much difficulty and hence there is no issue in this regard. Battery capacity is 2220 mAh and Microsoft claims that this will render 600 hours of standby time and 17 hours of talk time to the Lumia 730, which is again very decent.
Display and Other Features
There is a 4.7 inch ClearBlack OLED display onboard the smartphone and it features HD 1280×720 pixel resolution. With the incorporation of polarizing filters, the ClearBlack technology makes the display less reflective and readable even under sunlight. Furthermore, it is layered with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone will be running on latest Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim update. It also has aspects such as dual SIM, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Wi-Fi, 3G and GPS. Microsoft adds 15 GB of free OneDrive cloud storage space to the device as well.
