Nokia at Mobile World Congress

— Juho Sarvikas (@sarvikas) January 18, 2018 For the uninitiated, the Mobile World Congress or MWC is a platform for introduction and showcase of new technology globally. The next instalment of MWC is scheduled for February in Barcelona, and Nokia is excited about this one, the obvious reasons being a series of smartphones that are due from the HMD-Global led company. Starting with the iconic Nokia 3310, the 2G and 3G variant of the Nokia featured phone are out already. Now, a 4G version was spotted on TENAA and may make debut at the MWC. It is tipped to feature a 2.4-inch QVGA (240 x 320p) curved window colour display. It will also feature a T9 keyboard, just like other feature phones. Coming up in the price segment, we may also witness the launch of Nokia 1, which is tipped to be an Android Go smartphone from the company. If rumours are to be believed, this will be the most affordable Nokia smartphone in the lineup so far. With the Nokia 4 and Nokia 7 Plus expected to be the company’s mid-range contenders, the Nokia 9 is tipped to be the next big thing. Having recently acquired an FCC certification, the Nokia 9 is anticipated to be the next flagship with an OLED display from LG.
