Ever since the launch of the OnePlus One smartphone in early December, the handset has been made available only via invites and this is the first time it will be up for grabs without one. Notably, this open sale will be active only for 24 hours and after which the invite system will get back into action. Also, the open sale will be only for limited units and hence, it is expected to go out of stock soon considering the high demand for the OnePlus One.

The manufacturer is all set to roll out the OxygenOS based update for the OnePlus One smartphone and the new units of the device are shipping without Cyanogen branding to main uniformity. Notably, OnePlus unveiled its annual report card for the year 2014 in the last week. It showed that the manufacturer managed the sell 7 percent of the One smartphones in India in just one month of its launch in the country.

To refresh on its specifications, the OnePlus One smartphone boasts of a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p display and is equipped with a 2.5 GHz quad core Snapdragon 801 processor teamed up with 3 GB of RAM. There is 64 GB of native storage support that cannot be further expanded. The imaging aspects include a 13 MP main camera unit and a 5 MP selfie snapper up front. A 3,100 mAh battery energizes the OnePlus One smartphone from within.
