Let’s dive right into the specifications. The One Plus Xs start their story with a 5-inch AMOLED screen that packs 1920 x 1080 pixels. A Snapdragon 801 chip powers the phone, coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16/32GB of onboard storage(expandable via a microSD card up to 128GB). Android 5.1.1 is OnePlus’ OS of choice here(presumably including OnePlus’ custom OxygenOS) and the battery is a 2525 mAh unit. The primary camera is a 13 MP isocell sensor with an f/2.2 aperture that includes Phase Detection Autofocus; which enables the X to lock on to focus in 0.2 seconds. An 8 MP camera resides upfront. The X also has support for dual-SIMs built in; while a fingerprint reader remains absent. The notification slider from the OnePlus Two has been thrown into the mix as well. The OnePlus X supports 4G LTE too.
Apart from the new phones, OnePlus also debuted a new pair of earphones called the OnePlus Icons. The Icons will be available in Gold and Graphite colours; and are based on 11mm drivers which, in a blind test, sounded extremely high in quality. While prices haven’t been revealed yet, OnePlus say they’d price the Icons for ‘much less than you imagine’.
