The first phone from Panasonic, Eluga Ray 500 has a 5-inch HD screen and features a dual rear camera setup. The Eluga Ray 700 comes with a slightly bigger 5.5 inch full HD display and a 13MP front camera with LED flash. Both these phones feature a unibody metal design and have a fingerprint sensor on the front.

It is powered by a 1.3GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor coupled with Mali T720-MP3 GPU. It also packs 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal memory that is expandable up to 128GB with MicroSD. In the camera department, it sports a single 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, PDAF, and f/2.0 aperture at the rear. It is capable of 1080p video recording. At the front, Eluga 700 has a 13MP camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and features 3.5mm audio jack, and FM Radio. This phone houses a bigger 5,000mAh battery.

The Panasonic Eluga Ray 500 and Eluga Ray 700 are priced Rs. 11,990 and Rs. 13,990 respectively. However, the phones are currently available at a reduced price on Flipkart. The Eluga Ray 500 is listed at Rs. 8,999 and Eluga Ray 700 is listed at Rs. 9,999. Both the phones come in Mocha Gold, Marine Blue, and Champagne Gold color options. The phones will go on sale exclusively on Flipkart starting September 21.
