Last we heard that Panasonic was gearing up to launch its Eluga series high end devices in India, but perhaps considering all the heat in sub 10K Android market, Panasonic will introduce Panasonic T41 in India first priced at 7,900 INR.
The news comes from trusted source Manish Khatri of @MaheshTelecom who also details that this new phone will sport Android 4.4 Kitkat and 1.3 GHz Quad core processor, thus following the recipe of Moto E rivals in India. The display will be 4.5 inches in size with 480 x 800 pixel resolution. The 1.3 GHz MT6582 Quad core chipset will also be aided by 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal storage, expandable by another 32 GB using MicroSD card slot. Imaging hardware includes standard 5 MP rear shooter with LED flash coupled with VGA front camera for video calls. The dual SIM phone will also house a 1650 mAh battery in its slim and sleek 8.3 mm casing weighing 120 gram. Other features include GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n with Wi-Fi Hotspot & Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, A-GPS and 3.5mm Audio jack. You will also get access to Pansonic’s standard set of gesture features, music café, and POP I player. Look’s like the phone is already available in Brick and mortar stores, the specifications will be confirmed after official release. If these specifications are true, perhaps Zenfone 4.5 will serve as a better option with a lower price tag. Panasonic is also offering goodies worth 9,000 INR with T41. These include Latest Music and video download worth Rs 1000 free from Hungama, Exclusive premium services worth Rs 1800 from Evernote, 3 months free subscription worth Rs 2100 of Top 8 India Today Digital Magazines and complimentary Readwhere Bouquet up to Rs 5000.
