The device in the image has the same yellow ring around the first camera sensor as the prototype showcased at the camera event in India earlier this month had.
The image further reveals White color glass back with a reflective pattern and there is no fingerprint scanner visible. So we can expect an in-display fingerprint scanner, similar to the realme X. However, the image doesn’t clear if this will sport a pop-up selfie camera. Realme at the Realme 5 series launch event confirmed that it would launch the realme XT smartphone in September. This will be the company’s first 64-megapixel quad-camera phone which has already been confirmed earlier this month. To recall, Realme announced that it would launch its 64MP camera phone before Diwali in India. Previously we expected that it would be called realme X Pro, but now the name has been confirmed as realme XT.
Realme XT Features
The Realme XT will sport Samsung’s 64MP ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor with 1/72″ 0.8 μm pixel. The company at its ‘Camera Innovation Event’ said that it had worked closely with Samsung to bring the best of this sensor. The 64MP sensor uses 4-in-1 pixel binning technology to offer image with large 1.6μm pixel in the Ultra Nightscape mode.
In addition to the main 64MP camera, the realme XT will feature Super wide-angle, Ultra Macro and Telephoto lens with 2X zoom support. It will also have features like Expert Mode, Nightscape and Chrome Boost. Apart from this no other features and specs are known yet. However, we expect it to come with pop-up camera design just like Realme X.
Realme XT Launch Date
As per the teaser, the phone will be launched by the end of September and it might go on sale sometime before Diwali. The company has already said that it will set up R&D centers in India to integrate 64MP camera more efficiently to serve Indian consumer in a better way.
