The new Redmi Note 8 sports a 6.39-inch Full HD+(2340 ×1080 pixels) 19:5:9 aspect ratio display with a 90% screen-to-body ratio. The display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection as well as TÜV Rheinland eye protection certification.
The device is powered by Snapdragon 665 processor with Adreno 610 GPU, the same as Mi A3. It packs up to 6GB RAM with up to 128GB storage. The storage is expandable up to 256GB with microSD. The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 10. In the camera department, it sports a quad-camera setup with a 48MP primary camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, f/1.79 aperture, EIS, an 8MP 120° ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro camera for 2cm macro shots.
