The Galaxy Core LTE comes with a 4.5 inch PLS capacitive touch screen display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. It will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and will get an Android 4.3 update in future in all likelihood. It will be powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor which we think is the same one as found in the regular Galaxy Core. The same will team up with a 1GB RAM for multitasking. You’ll get 8GB of internal storage which will be available for expansion by another 64GB courtesy of the microSD card being made available. At the back of the Galaxy Core LTE will be a 5MP Auto Focus Camera with LED Flash which will be joined by a VGA front snapper for video calling and self-portrait shots. The connectivity package will be one of its strongest fortes and will feature 4G LTE, , Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi-Direct, DLNA, Bluetooth v4.0, A-GPS + GLONASS and NFC to ensure that you remain connected at all times. The battery unit giving it the juice will be a 2100 mAh one and the same seems decent enough for a mid-range device. The smartphone will be made available in a monochromatic colour scheme: black and white. The device will get a slew of software functionalities like Easy Mode, Adapt Sound, Safety Assurance, Smart Alert, S Voice, S Translator, and S Travel to make things simpler for you. Samsung will start the roll out of the smartphone in select European nations and the same will hold true for Asia as well considering the fact that not many countries have a nation wide 4G support. The smartphone will go up against the Xolo LT900 when it touches down on Indian shores. The pricing has not yet been announced but it won’t be anything north of Rs 15,000-17,000.
