The Samsung Galaxy S6 and and S6 Edge are primarily differentiated with the display. Though both have a 5.1 Inch super AMOLED 2K display, the glass folds around the edges in Galaxy S6 Edge. This essentially adds to the style rather than having a functional advantage. Both phones are powered by Samsung’s own 14 nm FinFET process based 64 bit Exynos 7420 (4 x 2.1 GHz Cortex A57 + 4 x 1.5 GHz Cortex A53) processor with faster 3 GB LPDDR4 RAM and Mali T760 MP8. Instead of eMMc based nand flash, Samsung is using much faster UFS 2.0 internal Nand flash storage which is faster and allows simultaneous read-write operations.
