Sony Smartwatch 3 isn’t round like the upcoming LG G Watch R or Moto 360, but it will feature the latest Android Wear functionality and is expected to be a tad bit cheaper. Other features well match the latest and best Android wear rivals. There is a 1.6 Inch display with 320 x 320 pixel resolution. It’s not an IPS LCD display. Smartwatch 3 is powered by 1.2 GHz quad core processor, with 4 GB internal storage and 512 MB RAM. The watch also flaunts IP68 certified water proofing. Other features include Accelerometer, Compass, Gyro, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and NFC. The 420 mAh battery inside is expected to last 2 days of mixed usage and 4 days on standby.

Sony’s “lifelogging” SmartBand Talk, on the other hand employs a ARM Cortex-M4 32-bit processor aided with 2MB of flash memory. The Smartband will connect to other Android 4.4 Kitkat based devices via NFC or Bluetooth. You can use it to make voice calls and the Battery will last for about 3 days. This wearable, with a 1.4 inch black and white display, flaunts IP68 Certified water resistance and will be available in 4 different color options for around $210.
