The highlight of the device is that it features glass back and resembles the design and specifications as the Panasonic Eluga U2 unveiled in Taiwan in February.

The VAIO Phone (VA-10J) boasts of a 5 inch HD IPS OGS display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. A 1.2 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor powers the smartphone from within. This processor is aided by Adreno 306 graphics unit and 2 GB of RAM. The VAIO Phone (VA-10J) packs in 16 GB of internal memory capacity that can be further expanded using a micro SD card.

Fueled by Android 5.0 Lollipop, the device features a 13 MP main snapper camera with LED Flash and 1080p video recording support. Up front, there is a 5 MP front facing selfi snapper as well. The other aspects of the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS for connectivity and a 2,500 mAh battery. The VAIO Phone (VA-10J) is priced at 51,000 yen that translates to Rs 26,500 approximately on a two-year contract. It will be available from the Japanese carrier b-mobile from March 20.
