To recall, the Xiaomi Mi 5X was launched in China last month. Now, the company has teased in the poster that one of the sensors in the dual camera setup has a larger aperture. It most probably indicates towards the Mi 5X which has dual camera setup and features a larger aperture in one of its cameras. Besides this, earlier a report claimed that Xiaomi was working with Google to come up with its first ever Android One smartphone. Interestingly, the report also suggested that the phone will probably be the Mi 5X, which might be rebranded for the global markets. It suggests the phone will be called Xiaomi A1.

Xiaomi Mi 5X Specifications

If we talk about the specifications, the Xiaomi Mi 5X features a 5.5 inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display. It runs latest MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1 Nougat. If recent rumors are true, the phone might come without MIUI in India.

The Xiaomin Mi 5X is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at up to 2GHz. It is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB. Coming to the camera, which is the highlight of the Xiaomi Mi 5X, it comes with a dual rear camera setup. It features one 12-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and another 12-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.6 aperture. Other features include autofocus, optical zoom, dual-LED (dual tone) flash and Portrait mode with background blur. At the front, the smartphone features a 5-megapixel camera. The connectivity options on the Mi 5X include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C port, and 3.5mm headphone jack. The device measures 155.4×75.8×7.3mm and weigh 165 grams. The Mi 5X sports a full metal unibody design and a fingerprint scanner on the back. Apart from the fingerprint sensor, it also features an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. It comes with a 3,080 mAh battery.
