To recall, Xiaomi launched its flagship Mi Mix 2 back in September only. Also, in India, they introduced Mi Mix 2 phone in October and just two months later we are hearing about its successor. However, it is being expected that Xiaomi will launch Mi Mix 3 also in the latter half of 2018. If we talk about the leaked image of Mi Mix 3, the image shows a rear panel of alleged Mi MIX 3 has clearly written “Mi Mix designed by Xiaomi” on it. Which makes it reliable that it could be the next Mi MIX device by Xiaomi. As per the image, the Mi Mix 3 is expected to feature a dual-camera setup which is positioned vertically, the module similar to the one seen on Apple iPhone X. Xiaomi, though has tried out a vertical camera setup earlier on two phones Mi 5s Plus and Mi 6 as well but their design implementation was completely different. Further, the rear panel of the smartphone also shows a fingerprint scanner positioned in the middle, similar the Mi Mix 2. The notable change in design seems here the rounded corners of the phone, which were more rectangular previously. Since the original Mi Mix and Mi Mix 2 both featured full-screen design, it is obvious that the Mi Mix 3 will also get the same design with minimum bezels. And, if we talk about specs, Mi Mix 3 could be powered by the latest Snapdragon 845 chipset which was just announced last week. Xiaomi’s CEO has already confirmed the presence of Snapdragon 845 processor in Xiaomi’s next flagship. However, the image is quite an early hint as of now for a phone that could possibly be launched in the end of 2018. While we can’t say anything about the accuracy of the leaked image, but it seems legit with the mark of the Mi Mix series and could be a prototype of the Mi Mix 3.
