We know that Xiaomi has been testing its Mi3 in India and now the smartphone has been listed on Snapdeal without a price tag. The Chinese giant has been planning on going global since last year and has already started its operations in Malaysia and Singapore.
Xiaomi plans on bring its devices in 10 emerging markets in parallel to one another. Recently, Hugo Barra, Company’s head of Global expansion, mentioned that based on certification process, Phillipines is likely to be next followed by India. The company is expected to open in Indian market with about 10 service centers at the launch day with Xiaomi trained local team. Xiaomi will market products via social media channels and retail them via online portals. Another important revelation is that Xiaomi will offer Playstore and full Google support on International Xiaomi Smartphones. Many people were worried about playstore since, Xiaomi’s Mi Store is a major source for its revenue in China. The MI 3 sports a 5 inch display with 1080p full HD resolution and is powered by Snapdragon 800 Quad core chipset clocked at 2.3 GHz. Internal storage is 16 GB/ 64 GB depending on the variant you choose, but the storage is not expandable. At the back you will get a 13 MP AF camera with dual LED flash capable of full HD video recording and complimented by a 2 MP front shooter, which can also record 1080p Full HD videos.
