Redmi Note 5 Specifications
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will be sporting a 5.5 inch full-HD (1080p) LCD IPS display panel with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Under the hood, it will be running either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core chip-set clocked at 2GHz or a MediaTek Helio x25 deca-core chip-set clocked at 2.1GHz. It will be having 4 GB RAM and either 32 GB or 64 GB of on-board storage which will be further expandable upto 128 GB. Camera optics will be including a 16 MP rear camera with PDAF, dual-tone LED flash and a 8 MP selfie camera. It will be backed up by a 4,000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. It should run on MIUI 9 based on Android Nougat (7.1) which is expected to be introduced soon. Connectivity options will be including 4G LTE, VoLTE, Dual SIM, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11n, GPS, 3.5mm jack, and USB Type-C port.

It will be having a metal unibody chassis with chamfered edges like its siblings. It will also be sporting a Fingerprint sensor at the back like any typical Redmi Note device. Most probably it will also be having an IR blaster and bottom firing speakers.
Pricing & Availability
We can’t really say much about its availability but we believe that Xiaomi will soon be introducing this device in China, maybe next month. The Indian launch could take a bit longer to happen, though.
