The storage is 8 GB and you can further expand it by another 32 GB using MicroSD card slot. For now, Play 8x 1020 is running Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box. For photography, there is an 8 MP Sony Exmor Sensor on the rear side with dual LED flash and a 5 MP front facing camera, also with LED flash. You can record 1080p Full HD videos from the rear camera. Battery capacity is 2500 mAh which is above average in this price range. Other features include GPS, 3G, WiFi, GPS and AGPS. Recently, Xolo also launched Omega smartphones for a similar price with Xolo Hive UI. Sub 10K category is now flooded with interesting options like Redmi Note 4G, Yureka, Zenfone 5 and many more. While Xolo Play 8x-1020 doesn’t bring anything particularly interesting to the table, it still tries to combine decent internal hardware at a modest price.
